    treat disordered medium as part of imaging system, but not an obstacle.

    can replace TLI with transmission spatial light modulator such as liquid crystal to actively control the behavior

    is able to use SLM to compensate photon redistribution caused by heterogeneous media? st the reflected fluorescence appears as if the fluorescence source is within homogeneous media.
