turbid lens imaging (TLI)

Overcoming the Diffraction Limit Using Multiple Light Scattering in a Highly Disordered Medium PRL 107, 023902 (2011) the object information is not lost but rather scrambled. highly disordered medium gives (1) breaking the diffraction barrier and (2) enlargement of the field of view

  1. treat disordered medium as part of imaging system, but not an obstacle.

  2. can replace TLI with transmission spatial light modulator such as liquid crystal to actively control the behavior

  3. is able to use SLM to compensate photon redistribution caused by heterogeneous media? st the reflected fluorescence appears as if the fluorescence source is within homogeneous media.
